1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Defteng website and engaging our professional services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Defteng provides architectural, structural engineering, and MEP design services. The scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are defined in a separate written agreement or proposal issued prior to commencement of work. These Terms & Conditions govern the general relationship between Defteng and its clients.
3. Intellectual Property
All drawings, reports, calculations, models, and other deliverables produced by Defteng remain the intellectual property of Defteng until full payment has been received. Upon full settlement, the client is granted a licence to use the deliverables for the specific project described in the engagement agreement. Defteng retains the right to reference completed projects in its portfolio.
4. Payment Terms
Fees are structured on a milestone basis as agreed at project commencement. Invoices are due within the period stated on each invoice. Defteng reserves the right to suspend work or withhold deliverables in the event of non-payment. Late payments may attract interest at the applicable statutory rate.
5. Revisions and Scope Changes
Revisions within the agreed project scope are included in our fee. Changes that materially alter the project brief, increase complexity, or require additional work beyond the original scope will be subject to a revised fee proposal, which must be approved in writing before additional work proceeds.
6. Limitation of Liability
Defteng's liability to any client shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Defteng shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our deliverables. All engineering and architectural services are provided in accordance with applicable professional standards.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of the project.
8. Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes only. Defteng makes no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content on this website is subject to change without notice and does not constitute professional engineering or architectural advice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faisalabad.
